Jennifer Markel, DVM

Dr. Jennifer Markel grew up in Oswego, NY and Baltimore, MD and currently resides in Murray, NY. She received an undergraduate degree from Loyola College and earned a DVM degree from the Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine. Prior to joining the Clarkson Veterinary Hospital team, Dr. Markel practiced at Scottsville Veterinary Hospital, East Ridge Animal Hospital, and Pumpkin Hill Veterinary Clinic. Her special interests include all aspects of small animal general practice.

In her spare time, Dr. Markel enjoys riding horses, watching movies, and wine. Besides two boys she also shares her home with four dogs (three pugs and a Great Dane), four cats, and two horses.
